As of 1/1/2024, all Connecticut customers will no longer be able to request an advance unless they are utilizing points to pay for the immediate debit delivery fee.
There was a state mandate passed that has caused Klover to change the way Connecticut customers pay for their advance delivery. If you currently have a Connecticut address listed in your Klover app as your home address, and you do not have enough points to cover the immediate debit delivery fee for your advance, then you will be prevented from requesting an advance in the app. Again, this change was made due to a state regulation and not Klover's decision.
FAQs
Why do I now have to redeem points for instant transport fees?
Connecticut passed a state law that requires Klover to no longer charge fees for cash advances for customers who are Connecticut residents. You may have noticed some other providers no longer even offer advances to users with addresses in the state of Connecticut. Unlike many other providers, Klover is able to still offer Connecticut residents instant cash advances by allowing customers to redeem points against the instant transport fee. This is the only option for our Connecticut customers.
I’m not a Connecticut resident. Can I change my address in the app?
Unfortunately we don’t offer customers the ability to change their address directly in the app. Please reach out to our awesome customer support team for help.
Can I still take standard (ACH) advances?
No, your only option for an advance is our immediate debit delivery. Sorry!
