We make things simple by partnering with Plaid! Plaid enables our customers to connect their banking information in real-time. This is currently the only way to link your bank to Klover. If you cannot access your online banking credentials, you must contact your financial institution.
First, please be sure to have the latest version of the app downloaded to your phone. You can check for the latest version in the app store. Then, please follow these steps to add or edit your bank in your profile:
- Log in & head over to the profile icon on the dashboard
- Select Bank
- Use Plaid (our third-party) to log in to your bank
- Proceed to add your debit card
You will receive 160 points when you link your bank account!
** If you currently have an outstanding advance, you will not be able to edit your bank information until the advance is repaid. Our support team would be happy to send you an invoice to repay your advance via the debit/credit card of your choosing. Once the invoice is paid, our team will manually apply the payment to your account. You will then be able to edit your bank information.
Having Trouble? Third Party Error Message
When linking your banking information, you may have received this message: "At Klover, we use a third-party bank connection provider. Unfortunately, at this time, we are unable to connect properly with your bank account because of technical difficulties at the 3rd party provider."
If you received the above message, it simply means we could not connect your banking details. There are a few reasons why you may be receiving this message. The most common reason is that your bank servers are down.
Most bank servers take a few minutes to a few days to restore connection. We encourage you to log out from the app, and log back in to refresh the account. You can also try unlinking your bank, waiting a few days, and then try relinking again.

I don't see my bank listed under Plaid; why?
If you don't see your bank listed under Plaid, it simply means we haven't formed a partnership with them yet. Plaid is constantly adding new banks, and we encourage you to check back in the coming weeks. If you cannot link your bank, you can still use fun features in the app, but you will not be eligible for an advance.
