Scanning receipts is a great way to stack up your points in the app. You can receive 5 points for every receipt you scan.
Common Receipt Errors
"Receipt Didn't Match a Transaction in Your Primary Account". If you receive this error, it could mean that the receipt:
- Does not contain the debit card that is on file with your Klover account.
- Contains a split transaction (including but not limited to EBT, gift cards, or other credit cards).
- Contains cash back.
- Is dated past our 90 day limit.
"Receipts Total: Missing" error message occurs when the "Total" portion of the receipt is blurry, faded, missing, or has been hand-written.
Receipts that contain handwritten tip amounts also fall under this category. While we appreciate your initiative to tip others, the system will not be able to accept receipts with hand-written totals since this helps identify that there is a matching transaction in your primary account.
"Receipts Date: Missing" error message occurs when the date portion of the receipt is blurry, faded, missing, or has been hand written. The system will not be able to accept receipts with missing dates since this helps identify that there is a matching transaction in your primary account.
Please know that if you have already received a point for a receipt, it can no longer be scanned again. The customer support team is unable to manually enter any receipt into our system, but if you are having issues with your receipt, please feel free to send us a picture of it. We are more than happy to diagnose the issue.
