Hey everyone, we have some not-so-great news to share. If you are a Klover customer who banks with either PNC, Simple, or BBVA, or if your bank recently merged with one of these banks, you will not be able to move forward with your Klover account. Let me explain:
Once a bank account is added to Klover, Klover attempts to verify the information. However, these banks listed above will continuously reject any verification we send over. Klover will attempt to keep an open connection with your bank despite the continual rejections, but the bank will always deny the connection. Without a stable connection with your bank, you will be unable to use your Klover account to its fullest potential.
You might be wondering - how was I charged a membership fee and you can't connect my bank?
We have three types of connections: server connections, debit card connections, and transaction connections. In some cases, we will be able to sustain connections to your debit card and transactions. However, your bank servers will deny the connection to our app. Most of the time, this is due to the bank not trusting the connection through our third party provider, Plaid.
We completely understand how upsetting this is, especially to those of you who have been long-standing customers for quite some time. You had no control over your bank merging, yet you suffer because of it. We are sincerely apologetic for the trouble this causes you, and wish there was something we could do to change the circumstances. Maybe you are thinking - is there anything I can do as a customer to change this? Well, we encourage you to reach out to your bank directly, and voice your concerns to their customer support team. If enough customers come forward, they may reconsider their position.
If you would like to cancel your monthly membership subscription to Klover, please follow these steps: Open your Klover app > head over to your settings > select memberships > select cancel. Please note the membership does not delete your account permanently and does not give you access to an advance. If you'd like to delete your Klover account permanently, please reach out to our support team at support@joinklover.com, and an agent can take care of that for you.
