You can link your debit card directly from your dashboard in the Klover app. Here’s how:
🔁 Steps to Link Your Debit Card
Open the Klover app and tap the Profile icon (top-right corner)
Tap Debit Card
Enter your debit card details
💡 You can also link your card from the To-Do List on your dashboard.
🕒 Note: It may take up to 3 business days for your debit card to be fully verified.
⚠️ Have an Outstanding Advance?
If you currently have an advance that hasn’t been repaid, you won’t be able to update your debit card. The app will automatically collect from your linked bank account instead. Once the advance is repaid, you can edit your debit card!
🚫 If Your Card Fails to Link
If the card doesn’t link successfully, you’ll be prompted to try again when you open the app.
Why Can’t I Link My Debit Card?
Here are some common reasons:
You have an outstanding advance
You are not pre-approved yet (we’re still reviewing your account data)
The card is linked to a different account (like a reserve or savings account)
You have a negative bank balance
Your bank servers are down
Your bank isn’t a supported institution (partnerships may change over time)
You’re trying to link a credit card — we only accept debit cards
Your debit card is expiring within 45 days
You’re using a temporary or prepaid card — we don’t accept these
You entered an incorrect card number or CVV
The card is still in the verification process — please allow 3 full business days
The card you are trying to link is locked.
🕵️♀️ Why Does Debit Card Verification Take So Long?
Verification can take up to 3 business days. During that time, we’re making sure your card is:
Properly connected to your primary bank account
Active and not expired
Able to receive and send funds
Not temporarily locked by your bank
Passing a verification test using small charges (between $0.01 and $0.09)
